Through the process of early design charettes to encourage positive and meaningful participation, our team develops a design that balances energy efficiency, sustainable resources, and economical maintenance to produce a comfortable, stimulating and healthy environment. We are familiar with the United States Green Building Council's guidelines for LEED certified buildings. Some of our sustainable design strategies include:

The use of day lighting, energy efficient HVAC equipment and high performance glazing to achieve maximum energy savings.

Reducing energy consumption with geothermal energy sources.

Utilizing innovative water technologies to reduce potable water consumption.

Using rapidly renewable resources such as bamboo flooring.

In general, our goal is to create a design that carefully incorporates the best from the project's site and region, protects the fragile elements in its environment, promotes resource efficiency, optimizes performance of the occupants and enhances the user experience of the building.
